We drove to Utah to spend Thanksgiving with Ethan's parents. We had such a great time. The day after thanksgiving we headed up to snowbasin and Ethan took Ashton snowboarding. He had so much fun we couldn't get him off the mountain. I think he did a total of 9 runs and still wanted to go again! He was getting pretty good at stopping himself on his heel edge, next time we'll tackle the toe edge. I can't believe our 4 year old is snowboarding, it's crazy what these little kids can do- Mommy and Daddy are so proud!

We went to visit Ethan's cousin Caleb in Chico. Stacey and I took all the kids to the park while Ethan and Caleb went hunting and fishing. We had so much fun. Thanks for letting us stay!

Happy Halloween

So we decided to try a family theme for halloween this year. Ashton loves star wars so that was our inspiration. Ashton was Luke Skywalker, Noah was Yoda, I was a very pregnant Princess Leia(sp?) and Ethan was Obi wan Kanobi.

Hats, hats and more hats
So I've recently taken up knitting (thank you Mia for patiently teaching me:). And my boys always want me to make them something, so these are a few of the hat attempts that I have made, it's always tricky to get the right size, but I'm slowly figuring it out.

Ashton and Noah had fun trying to eat our chocolate cream pie. I too was pretty eager, but alas, I think we barely made a dent. We definitely were not the winners of this family event. We sure had fun trying!

All of Ashton's friends were more than happy to help open presents. It was so fun to have so many friends there to help us celebrate. Ashton is in swim gear since we had a water balloon fight earlier in the party. Ashton was really grateful for all of the gifts he received. THanks everyone for a great day!!!
